Reid and Obama decide to go all or nothing strategy and chose to allow the government to shut down. The shutdown is like a dysfunctional family where the wife bans buying of groceries because the husband will not allow her to buy a bottle of perfume.
This is not a new strategy: The liberal love to spread the pain when they do not get their way. They did the thing in 1995 and when a local school levy fails the cut visible item like Music education and sports rather than bloated administration positions. Reid and Obama could had just called passage of the budget and made Obamacare funding an issue next year, but no they had to act like jerks.
